Sede CCHS
Meeting Rooms: Menéndez Pidal 0E18; María Zambrano 0C9 & José Castillejo 0D1

The Conference aims to facilitate dialogue and interactions between outstanding early career researchers and established academics. The Conference will offer keynote speeches by established academics, parallel thematic sessions with paper presentations by early career researchers, discussions and reviews and facilitate exchanges between them on scientific issues related to research policy and innovation. In addition, this conference will host the highly successful Café Scientifique.

This is going to be a small, focused conference, with extensive in-depth discussion of each contribution. The conference is aimed at a selected group of scholars (25-35 participants). Participation form early career scholars, such as post-docs and assistant professors having completed their PhD less than 5 years ago is particularly encouraged. In case of limited availability, priority will be given to scholars having completed their PhD less than three ago. PhD candidates at the final stage of their dissertation are also encouraged to attend. The conference also aims at providing the locus of debate for scholars, policy makers and practitioners in matters of path-breaking achievements and innovations.
