Visitors Program

The IPP welcomes a number of visiting scholars from various countries each year. If you are interested in planning a research stay at the IPP, once you have reached out to the member you wish to collaborate with, there are two options.

1. Visiting Fellowships at the IPP (without funding)

Researchers who rely on their own funds may apply at anytime by sending an invitation letter from a member of the IPP, along with a short CV (max. 5 pages), a brief description of the purpose of their visit, including how the stay may benefit the IPP (max. 500 words), and details on the dates and duration of the stay to:

christoph.kiefer@csic.es

Individual or shared office space will be offered subject to availability.

This is an open call throughout the year.

2. Funded Short-Term Visiting Fellowships at the IPP

Additionally, the IPP offers funding to support short research stays lasting a minimum of 8 working days (e.g., from Monday to Wednesday of the following week or any equivalent combination).

Financial support for travel and accommodation expenses, as well as per diem, will be adapted to the proposed duration of the stay and up to a maximum of 2.000€.

These stays are intended for collaborating with at least one member of the scientific staff at the IPP on a research activity such as an ongoing publication, project, or funding application to be hosted at the IPP. Priority will be given to applicants affiliated with non-Spanish universities or research institutions.
